Experience level : Total of 10 to 12 + years of experience out of which 5+ years should be in Supply Chain Analytics with a strong understanding of Supply Chain Operations inventory management, manufacturing, and distribution. 11.5+ years of experience in Analytics & Research. Supply Chain Analytics experience for 3 years in Forecasting and Network Revenue Optimization models for major Domestic Airlines in South Asia.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science/Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Operations research/Industrial engineering mandatorily from a Tier 1 institute / M.Sc in Economics from University of Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad : Research Assistant, Production and Quantitative Methods Area.

Role Expectations:

- Build enterprise intelligent automations and enable ML solutions on various use cases including but not limited to Demand Forecasting, Text Classification, Operational Analytics,
Logistics Optimization, Price Optimization, Ecommerce, and Market Mix Modelling.
- Ensure the models are deployed in a scaled and optimized way
- Support the post-production to ensure model performance degrades are proactively managed
- Experience in Network Optimization, Cutting Stock, Knapsack kind of problems
- Constructing and solving Linear, Mixed Integer, Constraint and non linear programming problems.
- Designing own Heuristic Algorithms or implementing any known heuristic approach.
- Collaborates with ML engineers and systems engineers and reviews the deliveries for the junior data scientists.
- Preparing hierarchical level sales forecasting model at Daily & Weekly level using ML based volatility forecasting methodology as a challenger model.
