Job Summary: As an Associate Design Engineer in the Design Engineering function for the Electrical and Electronics domain, you will assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic components and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical and electronic engineering principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design and development of electrical and electronic components and systems, including schematics, layouts, and specifications.
• Conduct simulations and tests to evaluate design performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including design reports, test plans, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and R&D, to ensure designs meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during the product development lifecycle.
• Maintain and update design databases and engineering documentation.
• Support the development and implementation of design standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical and electronic design.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in design engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles and design processes.
• Proficiency in using design software (e.g., CAD tools).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with specific design tools and simulation software (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Familiarity with compliance testing and regulatory standards.
