Job Summary:
As a Process Engineering Associate in the Process Engineering function for the Chemical domain, you will assist in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting chemical processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support process development and ensure smooth operations within the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and optimization of chemical processes, including reaction, separation, and purification steps.
Conduct experiments and pilot tests to evaluate process performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collect and analyze process data to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Support the development and implementation of process control strategies.
Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for process changes and improvements.
Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in process engineering or a related field.
Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles and process design.
Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with specific chemical analysis techniques (e.g., GC, HPLC).
Familiarity with process control strategies and instrumentation.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in the chemical industry.
