Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

About the Role: The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality and safety. The operator will work closely with shop technicians and other team members to ensure efficient production processes and meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Production and Machine Operation:
- Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties as per target.
- Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available.
- Effectively monitor production equipment.
2. Support and Coordination:
- Assist shop technicians and material feeders.
- Coordinate with the next shift to ensure seamless operations.
3. Safety and Maintenance:
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations.
- Perform daily checks, including coolant level, lubrication oil, and machine cleaning.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Record hourly production entries.
- Prepare insert life monitoring reports.
- Log in-house part rejection entries and idle time.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure zero rejection of components.
- Conduct basic dimensional checks and component inspections.
- Identify visually defective components.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Engage in continual improvement initiatives related to job responsibilities.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum ITI or Diploma Qualification or Equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in CNC machine operation.
- Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to accurately read blueprints.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented.
- Time discipline and self-directed.
- Committed to quality, safety, and communication.
- Physical ability to lift up to 23kg and stand for an eight-hour work shift.

Special Requirements:
- Relevant certifications in CNC machine operation.
- Willingness to perform duties as assigned by management without absenteeism without prior approval.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
