
Job Title: Learning & Development (L&D) Associate
About the Role: The Learning & Development Associate is an entry-level position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, within the HR and Training domain. The role involves supporting the design, coordination, and execution of employee development initiatives to enhance skills, productivity, and engagement. This position offers an opportunity for freshers to build foundational knowledge in HR and L&D functions, focusing on training operations, content management, and program delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Routine Execution - Organize and schedule virtual and classroom training sessions - Maintain training calendars and manage session logistics - Track attendance, feedback, and completion records - Update and maintain data in Learning Management Systems (LMS) - Prepare training materials, presentations, and documentation Coordination - Liaise with internal trainers, external vendors, and participants - Communicate training schedules, invitations, and reminders - Support onboarding programs for new hires - Gather training requirements from various departments Problem-Solving - Address participant queries related to training schedules and access - Resolve logistical issues such as session links and material availability - Ensure timely updates and accuracy of training records Role Growth - Assist in training needs analysis and content development - Support the creation of simple learning modules and presentations - Contribute to analyzing training feedback and improving engagement - Develop foundational knowledge of training processes and tools
Key Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred - 0–1 year of relevant experience; internships or projects in HR/L&D advantageous - Basic understanding of HR functions, especially training & development - Familiarity with training coordination and documentation - Knowledge of learning concepts such as onboarding and skill development - Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - Ability to manage data and generate reports - Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills - Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude - Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
Special Requirements: - Exposure to Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors) is a plus - Basic content creation or instructional design knowledge is advantageous - Understanding of employee engagement initiatives - Familiarity with communication tools such as Outlook, Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet - Certification in HR or L&D is optional - The role emphasizes execution and coordination rather than strategic planning - After 3–6 months, candidates should be able to independently coordinate training sessions, manage records, and handle participant queries with minimal supervision Salary Range: INR Lakhs (based on experience and qualifications) This position offers a clear career progression path to roles such as L&D Executive, Senior L&D Executive, Assistant Manager – L&D, and Manager – Learning & Development.
