Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Python to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and the ability to start within two weeks. This role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Role & Responsibilities :
Automation Testing :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.


- Implement automated test frameworks and tools to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.

- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for automated testing.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create effective test automation strategies.

Test Management :

- Manage and monitor automated test suites to ensure timely execution and reporting.

- Track and report defects, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution.

- Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.

- Maintain and update test environments and configurations to ensure consistency and reliability.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Quality Assurance :

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Identify opportunities for improving test processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance test automation capabilities.

Required Technical Skills :

Automation Testing :

- Strong experience with Selenium for web application testing.

- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.

- Experience with automated test frameworks and tools.

- Knowledge of test management tools and defect tracking systems.

Software Development :

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).

- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Additional Skills :

- Experience with other programming or scripting languages is a plus.

- Knowledge of RESTful API testing and performance testing tools is beneficial.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
