
Research Associate - Research and Development (Chemical Products)

Job Summary: As a Research Associate in the Research and Development (R&D) function for Chemical Products, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of new chemical formulations, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to various R&D projects. This role requires a fundamental understanding of chemical principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory experiments and chemical analyses under the guidance of senior researchers.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of experiments, observations, and results.
• Assist in the development and optimization of chemical formulations.
• Perform routine testing and quality control procedures on raw materials and finished products.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to present findings to the R&D team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and marketing.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in chemical research and development.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory or research environment.
• Basic understanding of chemical principles and laboratory safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with specific chemical analysis techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS).
• Familiarity with chemical product development and formulation processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in the chemical industry.
