QUALIFICATIONS
B.E., B.Tech. Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, Plastic engineering.
EXPERIENCE
• 5-8 Years.
• Automotive Exterior design & development experience.
• Ford exterior trims project experience.
• Team lead experience.
SKILL
• Expert in Catia V5.
• Must have good knowledge and work experience in FORD exterior standards.
• Must have good understanding of plastic part design methodology.
• Good knowledge & experience in Team center engineering.
• Must have good knowledge of plastic material & different types of coatings.
• Must have relevant experience in Master Sections and Concept creation for various parts
• Should have knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes
• Should understand DFM & DFA
• Must have knowledge of relevant vehicle safety regulations across the globe.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills -Team Lead
• Organizational and time-management skills – Team Lead

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Must have relevant experience in design of exterior trims parts like Cladding panels and carriers, finishers and escutions closing panels, WALs and under shields design using CATIA V5 and FORD standards.
• Responsible for CAD design of Automotive plastic components considering functional, tooling and production requirements.
• Leading a team of 5 – 8 design engineers.
• Responsible for ensuring quality and meeting the timeline requirements of the project.
