B.E., B.Tech. M.E, M. Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, or PG in Tool /Product engineering
EXPERIENCE:
• 2-5 years of experience in Design of Automotive Interior Trims (Instrument Panel, Cross car beam, Door trims, Console, Pillar trims, Headliner, Carpet etc.)
• Better to have experience of working on Ford or other OEM projects.
SKILLS:
• Expert in Catia V5 & Teamcenter
• Must have a good understanding of plastic part design methodology
• Must have relevant experience in Master Sections and Concept creation
• Should have knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes
• Should understand DFM & DFA.
• Must have knowledge of international vehicle regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for CAD design of Automotive plastic components considering functional, tooling and production requirements
• Responsible for ensuring quality and meeting the timeline requirements of the project.
